Somos una de las familias latinas en WES, nuestra experiencia con el colegio ha sido muy buena hasta ahora. Nosotros no hablamos inglés en casa, solo español, por lo que cuando nuestro hijo llegó a WES en Nursery estábamos un poco preocupados. A pesar de eso, después de un tiempo, nuestro hijo es uno más y se ha adaptado completamente a la comunidad de WES. Ahora él está en segundo grado y nuestra experiencia ha sido tan buena que nuestra hija de 3 años asistirá a WES a fines del verano. Si tu hijo tiene dificultades de aprendizaje se encontrará con una serie de especialistas que te ayudarán a sacar a tu hijo adelante. Nos encantan los viajes que se realizan en Wes desde una temprana edad en areas locales, hasta que progresivamente crecen hasta viajes a Italia, Francia y España; como extranjeros valoramos mucho esa apertura cultural en este mundo globalizado. La cantidad de recursos con la que cuentan los estudiantes y también los profesores es digna de envidiar. No les falta nada.

I went to WES from Kindergarten through 8th grade and had a wonderful experience, especially with the faculty. WES completely prepared me for a rigorous high school experience at National Cathedral School.

WES is a leader in education, community, athletics, student resources and tradition for schools in the DC area. The teachers and faculty are dedicated to enrich all aspects of student life and learning. The learning experiences, opportunities for growth and service each student has at WES provide a solid foundation for students as they grow. I would recommend WES to any friend as it is a beloved school for me and my family.

Thus far, the experience for my son has been amazing. He looks forward to going to school each day and he comes home exhausted from a day of math, science, writing, french, chorus and band - but happy:-).
