It was enjoyable. The people there were always nice. The problem lacks with the school funding. The limited classes made it hard for people to try out new things.

I have gone to Big Sandy for 13 years of education this school is in a very poor district and it has always been if you have money you can buy your way through everything. I have also personally dealt with a lot of bullying . Te teachers quite often are not the best at teaching the subject they teach and i quite often feel as if it causes my education to lack or fall behind. Big Sandy does have a few great teachers who go above and beyond for their students to make sure they understand and pass.

If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. First I'd like to say that most of those 5 star reviews are fake. All posted on the same date and the same gibberish. The school's not great, the food's not great. Bullying happens quite a lot and nothing is ever done about it even if the staff are told multiple times. The dress code promotes rape culture, and sexual assault happens there and nothing is done about it. If you're not a teachers kid?? Forget about acing all your classes. They have a certain "privilege" there, if you know what I mean. Overall, graduating from there was a weight off my back. Even if you paid me a million, I would not go back and do another 4 years there. Sorry

Big Sandy High really disappointed me. Their drop out rate is on the rise especially because of the leaders in the school. They do not like to confront and solve problems if it involves one of the star athletes. The bullying is not taken serious and children that go to the counselor are told that th...
