Support systems play favorites. Friends of my child have reported bullying; and, no action by faculty. It is deplorable that children still have to deal with bullying being okay, condoned by the lack of action by this school.

I've had great times at CV but I've also had very, very bad ones. Your teacher is either Great or Terrible and the students have no each other for far too long. Overall it's very mundane and it's very hard for new students to integrate into the very separate cliches in this school. But there are good sports programs and a plethora of club to join so it's not terrible.

Chenango Valley, overall, is a good school. In comparison to others, there is plenty of fun opportunities, extracurriculars, sports, and a strong sense of justice and care. There are obviously issues, as do all schools, but for a small school it really does have a lot of the same opportunities as the big schools do. I would recommend enrolling your kids here, as it's a safe environment and gives maximum academic help to its students.

I have connections in several schools in New York State and feel this one needs a major overhaul, perhaps due to favoritism. And forget it for special needs children.

So far we have 2 generations that have graduated from CV! So many wonderful memories from our time spent in all the schools in the district, plus the great education we all received.

I am an alumni from cv and I lived every minute I spent there. The teachers/guidance counselors/staff actually care about the students and strive to give them the best education that they can.

When I came here from Newark Valley Prison School/Boot Camp, I felt like my life had new meaning. Instead of constant depression and even thoughts of suicide, I found happiness and a reason to live thanks to this school. Chenango Valley gave me a fresh breath of air and got me to find a home on the...
