Not only is there a police officer greeting everyone in the morning, you can not enter the school without being buzzed in. There are cameras in the hallway and each classroom has their own phone/number and exit to the outside. There is a school counselor available to talk to children when needed, the principal hangs out front during pick up time each day and every teacher asks parents for students after school plans.
