I would like to see more outreach to the student body on college opportunities. I would like to see more guidance for first generation college students.

My best part is everything is organized the downside of my experience there is that the students themselves don't seem to care much about the school and I can see clearly the teachers are trying their best to help them learn. What I would like to see change is having a phone policy up where no student s are allowed to have their phones during class because that is one of the main reasons why I feel like the students don't care. Another thing I would like to see changed is the safety because each building requires a key to get in what happens if the student is Stuck outside when a serious conflict could happen? I believe they should allow students to have a key so they can get inside just in case the worst happens and the student is outside so the student can get inside and find somewhere safe. Overall this is a great school the staff are really outgoing and supportive but there's someone issues that counteract each other ex: better security but students can't get inside without key.

There are many things to love about Starmount High School. They have a very diverse group of students and staff. The teachers are always trying to help better the school and it's students. There are many clubs to join and out of school sports. There are also many volunteer services and many ways to help your community through the school.

I think Starmount High is a great school. The teachers and faculty really care about the students. Since my daughter has been going there the classes have helped her build confidence in herself. Im sad to know other school districts dont care about the students like this school does. As always Go Ra...

We just moved to NC and enrolled this year my son as a 9th grader. So far he like the school and likes most of his teachers. In some ways the school is more up to date than the school we departed from. His teachers are very interested in his intrest into collage helping him go in the right direction...

...this school needs get their priorities together! The counselor for the seniors almost refuses to help with any questions they have for college. She discourages them instead of helping them. The new principal spends more time trying to take things away from the students and make the teachers miser...
