I think starmount is like any other small town high school. You have the group of people who have mullets and probably shouldn't say some certain words. You have the bad bunch that do idiotic things like clog the toilets and vape. You have the students that are focused on sports and on their studies but you also have the close knit feel of being surrounded by people you know and have always know. Starmount is like any other high school, but we have some things that make us stand out. We have an amazing wrestling team, we have a passion about doing our best and doing it "the starmount way".

There are many things to love about Starmount High School. They have a very diverse group of students and staff. The teachers are always trying to help better the school and it's students. There are many clubs to join and out of school sports. There are also many volunteer services and many ways to help your community through the school.

I like that Starmount High School has a sense of pride and the students that go here are like a family. In the years of going to this school, i have noticed that the teachers here (some) really do care about the students and there well being and want to see them succeed.

We just moved to NC and enrolled this year my son as a 9th grader. So far he like the school and likes most of his teachers. In some ways the school is more up to date than the school we departed from. His teachers are very interested in his intrest into collage helping him go in the right direction...

...this school needs get their priorities together! The counselor for the seniors almost refuses to help with any questions they have for college. She discourages them instead of helping them.
