I feel like the best experience that I've had at BCHS is the sports and the students and families support us in what we do. As a Powerlifter it's always fun to see people that go to your school and don't know what you can lift and when they see you lift some heavy weight they are generally impressed and that makes me feel good. The only real bad experience is that some of the football athletes are just turds to most people and don't give other people a chance to learn by being loud and obnoxious, and treating people who aren't they're friends like they're some pawns in their own game.

My experience at Bridge City High School is definitely better than I was expecting it to be back in 2021. Coming off of 4 years of homeschooling, I was fairly anxious about getting back into the flow of public schooling-- but I was met with an incredibly smooth transition that saw me reach out for dual credit and honors opportunities as early as my sophomore year. Outside of certain situations regarding the teachers of some subjects, I don't have any massive complaints about the school itself.

Bridge City High School has a high involvement in academics. A high volume of students strive to attain and maintain a high GPA. I do not like that there is very little diversity in the faculty or student body. Moreover, there is very little help in getting ready for college as a lot of students have connections that guide them, however, not every student has people who can guide them. There is little involvement from counselors.

No black educators, maybe one. Racism and bullying run rampant and crimes go unreported. It's an unsafe environment for African American and biracial students. Discrimination as well as negligence are common for children with special needs or children of color. Very cliquey like one reviewer said an...

They are very cliquey. If your family has not been here for years or your child does not have an exceptional talent it will be hard for family. They do not let people in and they will make sure you feel it. Over the year that we have been here I've seen it with several times and have talked to a few...

Bridge City has great teachers and coaches. The teachers care and they also trust the students to be mature and let their parent know when somethings wrong. If their grades improve, they don't call parents. The one bad thing about BC is it is so small and there is a lot of drama and backstabbing. Se...
