Overall my 4 years at brookings harbor highschool was fantastic. The teachers and administrators are all super friendly and willing to help you get setup for the future. Although admin and teacher were great our academics seemed to be on the lower side of things so that's something I would love to see be bettered. My favorite part about being at brookings harbor highschool was the sports because living in such a small community the sports were a very special thing for the school.

My high school had a moderate overall climate and quite understanding faculty/staff. However; the way in which the school uses funding could be adjusted and used better in certain areas such as the math and science department rather than putting most of the funding towards athletics.

My high school experience was well below the average score. We have many poor teachers who do not educate their children to prepare them for life outside of high school. The school has not, in my opinion, given me the tools to have an easy transition into adult life and college. Our school has many further problems including longevity of staff, communication with student and staff, and books not being updated (my french book was in the school since the mid 1980s).

Parents need to be encourage to come in more than the twice yearly conferences. Parents, school board members and other guests were always accompanied by administrators during classroom sessions. It always felt like the administrators were watching to see we didn't share any personal views other tha...

Since my child has attended this school, they have changed the grading system three times. Now they have credit by proficiency, which in my opinion, only teaches students to pass tests. The students don't learn from this. It is a big disservice to the students. Furthermore, this school does not prep...
