The worst part of Brookings High School is the school culture. There is not lots of school spirit or pride. However, on a positive side, most teachers are more than willing to help.

Very strong english department( wonderful, caring, and passionate teachers -overall weak science department; options but not followed through well -social sciences tend to be busy work -art classes and teachers are great -gym has options, pretty standard

Students that have learning challenges aren't helped. They need better help inside the regular classroom for these wonderful students. No student should fall behind, learning difficulties or not.
