The Roberto Clemente School, named to honor the late baseball player Roberto Clemente, is an elementary school for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade in Alphabet City. Located on East 4th Street between Avenues C and D, this school offers small class sizes and a Gifted and Talented program. Students benefit from a balanced approach to learning, with teachers getting to know students on their own level and individualizing instruction. A robust curriculum features math, English language arts, science, physical education, social studies, and STEAM.
