I would like to see more emphasis on the arts. Right now there is just a simple art class and a music class. There should be a high school band and more focus on drama and theater. I also think adding a dance club would be beneficial.

Buckingham county High School was and is a lovely school to attend, they're quite strict with safety of the students which I personally appreciate. While I say their saftey is quite sound its also has some holes. The teachers are a hit and miss depending on who and what they're teaching. The sports here are quite concentrated mostly football, as I didn't even know we had a golf team until it was almost my last year I feel they could be more inclusive and making kids aware about the diffrent sports that are available. Overall my personal experiance at this school had its ups and downs but I dont think I would exactly trade the fun times I had here.

My high school experience was not as good as other schools and did not prepare me for college. I had to learn from college on my own. The teachers were terrible. They have no communication with students.

This school is not the best. It is also not the worst. I believe they do the best they can with the limited resources that they have. As a parent, it is my job to ensure that whatever gaps are left are filled. It is worth it to me to remain because my children here are able to benefit from accelerat...
