There are a few teachers at sms whom of which I look up to. Reasons for that is because they do not lack authority and have actual teaching ability. As for the others, they all don't deserve a career in teaching at all. But despite the greater bad to good teachers ratio, the school altogether doesn't suck that much. The school has a number of poorly promoted clubs. College readiness is good despite no preparation for high school. As for safety. . you'll survive. . hopefully. Word of advice, go there with low expectations, your 7th grade year may be the best year of your life, but that doesn't mean 8th grade will be too. But altogether don't beat yourself up too much. You can do it !

Only go here if you're forced to my dude. And really endure it the best you can. Make sure to survive and stay away from the bad kids and influences.Good luck !
