It was interesting being a Hilander. There was times many of us students struggled due to teachers having little care about their students learning, and the rules at time became a little too strict. when they start the year off by saying if they see your phone more than three times in class it was grounds for expulsion, and then not giving the teachers the opportunity to have their students use them as tools. and the last thing is, they forced tools on people. making them have to fill out x, and y for a grade, whether it helped them or not.

Burns High school is a school lots of potential that is not used.There could be more programs and college readiness classes.The school should also be cleaned up more.(painted or new flooring,etc).the rules are kind of strict and unneeded,but overall,the school isn't terrible and you can tell that they're trying

My experience has been pretty alright. I started there my jr year after having done online school for two years which was awful. I have gotten the real high school experience and honestly don't regret anything. My grades are exponentially better than online school and it's overall a pretty ok school.

The students here show no respect what so ever, to teachers and peers. We have very little funding for sports, and clubs. College classes rarely count for double credit anymore. The administration does a poor job and dealing with students.

It is small and old we have 5 classes a day and only 4 days a week. And not a lot of real teachers sure the have been to school but the really don't give a shot about the students future.
