My experience at Cairo-Durham High School was fantastic. I feel this way largely due to the outstanding efforts of the faculty and staff. The student body as a whole, in my opinion, benefited greatly due to such a cohesive and nurturing staff. Cairo-Durham High School has more than adequately prepared me for a life of happiness and success.

This school SUCKS! My special needs child was treated like a criminal. The teachers they had NEVER had their back. In fact the teachers frequently bullied my child. I recommend to the few GOOD teachers that are still there... GET OUT NOW WHILE YOU STILL CAN! And if you have a special needs child, SE...

This school is terrible. The teachers are good but they wont own up to their own mistakes, and blame all their problems on the kids. its always the kids fault, because teachers refuse to take initiative and lead the class. This place just sucks. Period.

For someone of color growing up in this high school was not a healthy environment. A lot of the staff never really seemed to care for their students. Bullying was a huge issue on top of that. Their handle of students were sometimes quite questionable.
