I really liked that Camdenton has a lot of different sports to choose from, however, I don't like that you have to choose to be in a sport or in an art like band or debate. Most teachers do try and help students out and do way more than they are paid to do, but the new school board is trying to make some changes that will hopefully benefit the students and teachers.

There are a lot of very advanced classes available to students including weighted, AP, IB, and college courses. The staff is friendly most of the time and extra-curricular do very well. Overall, the school is very good as far as academics and extra-curricular are concerned.

Camdenton High School has one of the most disappointing and frustrating athletic programs I’ve seen. The biggest issue is not talent—it’s leadership. The athletic department and coaching staff show little to no real commitment to integrity, accountability, or fair competition, and it shows every sin...

Excellent school! The curriculum and variety of classes offered are far above neighboring school districts. The administrators are qualified and caring. The programs offered are diverse and well managed. This is the most desirable school district around.
