I loved high school the energy, the memories, the moments that shaped me—but not the people I surrounded myself with. At the time, I thought they were right for me, but looking back, I see how much I dimmed my light to fit in. I grew, laughed, and found parts of myself in that building, but I also lost pieces trying to please the wrong people. High school was a beautiful mess: the place I learned who I didn't want to be around. I wouldn't change the experience, but I'd be more careful about who I gave my heart and time to.

Our science, music, and math departments are incredibly strong in my opinion. It is easy for students to take classes that fit their level. I would like to see more women represented in administration, as there have been some obstacles to making change happen at the school because of some of our administration. I think we have accessible sports programs. I wish our school was more inspired to be creative and their was more color.

Canton is nice town but school administration depts. have issues that are swept under the rug and ignored as it pertains to minorities, especially in the upper levels. The elementary schools are a great choice.
