Towne Meadow Elementary School offers top-ranking education as one of 11 elementary schools in the Carmel Clay School District. The spacious school campus on Towne Road, just south of Coxhall Gardens, has been operating since 2000. Schoolwide initiatives and specialized clubs help students receive individualized support and a community-wide welcome.
Two key schoolwide initiatives, Conscious Discipline and Digital Citizenship, aim to help young Towne Meadow Coyotes create a safe school environment. Through intrinsic motivation, problem solving and responsible digital device use, students help create a welcoming community.
Extracurricular activities and special programs identify specific student interests and needs for unique educational opportunities. Whether learning English as a new language, demonstrating high educational potential or requiring special educational assistance, students at Towne Meadow can find the support they need. Fun-filled extracurriculars, like nature club, robotics, kindness crew and crochet club, encourage friendships and learning new skills.
After-school care in the building is operated by a governing board and Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation, so students can build relationships and enjoy enrichment activities after the school day ends. While Towne Meadow may be one of 11 different elementary schools in the district, teachers, staff members and the parent-teacher organization work hard to create unique activities, resources and community events for students.

There are not many individualized learning options for kiddos in younger classes who may excel in certain areas but need help in others.
