My experience was a little bit of everything, honestly it just comes down to certain teacher relationships that affect your grade not because you've done anything wrong, but personal grading is a thing. But then there are the college classes and the fun and learning gained through them.

Honestly, I love Wake STEM. It was my dream school for years, and after being here for 2.5 years, it did not disappoint. The staff is absolutely amazing, and the students and general culture is just... wow. I will say that if you are looking to apply, be prepared to have (1) no say in what classes you take until junior/senior year and (2) almost exclusively take AP courses.

Great staff and environment overall, if it weren't for STEM I wouldn't have had the competitive nature to continue my studies and passion.

I have had an amazing experience as a student at this school. This has made me not only ready for college but also the professional world. Throughout my four years here I was able to grow and learn through the help of the incredible students and staff. I can't wait to see what Wake STEM becomes.

It was meant to be for those families whose parents had never achieved a college education.
