The worst part of Century High School is the student culture. It destroys the school spirit and makes me feel like I don't want to be there. The best part arguably is the staff. There are many great and memorable teachers at CHS.

I would like to see the school food improved, as well as the math teachers given a better curriculum, and the staff to actually assist with student needs. I also would like the counselors to do more than ask the same questions when a student is having a problem, and for the college staff to find more opportunities for involvement with students.

Throughout my schooling at century high I have been able to make tons of connections between me and like minded students, people I know I will call friends for the rest of my life. It has certainly had it's ups and downs, some communication errors between students and admin. Some issues between students that I dont feel were handled as well as they could have been, but it's a fine school. It's focus is medical fields and music programs, sometimes pulling funding away from other activities but instructors know how to make due. I am happy I went here instead of other schools near, certainly don't want to stay longer than i have to.

This school forces your children into mediocrity. By the time you realize there is a problem, they will not help resolve it, but will say they 'want' to resolve it in all sorts of ways while waiting for you to give up.I'm deleting the rant/details. The summation is: oldest just graduated and despite...

Teacher morale is a huge problem at the school. my students have emailed teachers and tried to meet with them when they had questions or issues or concerns. Teachers are very difficult to get a hold of, they don’t reply to emails from students, and they rarely reply to emails from parents. We’ve had...
