Bullying is an everyday occurrence at the school and it is not addressed by administration. If your child is not from the Chapin area they get singled out and bullied. It started at Chapin elementary and carried over to Chapin Intermediate. It was like the kids were born bred bullies from the beginning. I had to transfer my child out because administrators can't control it and the school board won't even return calls about it. My child is now in counseling due to the daily bullying from the entitled kids at this horrible school.

The staff at this school, on more than one occasion, have taken a position that is ethically misguided to say the least.My son was accused of sexual assault and suspended immediately for an investigative period while the student who made the accusation was allowed to continue in school. Parents and students are in charge, admin does nothing about student behavior because they are afraid of being sued. Students harass teachers often and nothing is done about it. Do not recommend teaching here.

The school has a very toxic culture among students, and the school is overcrowded. The teachers are average, and tend to give out a large amount of homework.
