As a graduate of the class of 2024, I do miss high school but at the same time I don't. I miss all the chaos that would happen along with the constant laughter with the people around me. I miss how involved I was in the school, always doing my best to participate in the events to earn my community hours for National Honor Society. Most of all, I miss playing with the orchestra. You see, I was the Co-President and First Chair of the Orchestra at Cheyenne and I really loved my position. I made sure to always get along with everyone and do my best to understand each and every single student. I loved being my teachers right-hand and always doing my best to help her with anything. I still do keep contact with my teacher, we talk like every once a week lol. I would have to say though, that the safety at this school is very questionable, it pretty much lacks safety. There is a few more things that the school can improve on, but I only want to focus on the good parts at my time there.

I was a student at Cheyenne High School. When I arrived from Brazil, I didn't speak English, but the school provided me with the support and resources I needed to learn and grow. Now, I'm seeking scholarships to help me pursue my college education.

As a sophomore attending Cheyenne High School, I feel unseen and unheard by the school staff and teachers. I’ve been ignored and dressed coded for shorts that were well below my fingertips while a young man in a wife beater walked right past me without punishment. I’ve seen numerous students smoking...

The lack of communication between the administration and parents is incredibly frustrating. I have sent countless emails and left voicemails for different counselors and staff, trying to get issues resolved. Nothing. They don’t want to address the issues, just move kids around and wonder why they do...

School has not even started and already had two problems! We had to go to pick up chrome books at an assigned time on Monday. When we got there they would not give the chrome books without a birth certificate, power bill and shot records. No one had said to bring these items, they told us to go get...
