I'm currently a senior at Sequoyah and have been going there since I started high school, and it's definitely been better than the school I've been to in the past. It's also a very small school compared to many others in the area. One of the worst things is that there is a problem with vaping on campus.

Personally I enjoyed the independence and student support that was provided throughout the school. It's nice to be educated in a place that realizes the need for self-growth but at the same time acknowledges that help is needed every once and a while. Improvements could be made towards developing a better financial budget towards the fine arts.

I like the size of the school. It is a smaller rural school and I like that. I would like to see more genuine care for the students and our mental health, though. If I were to be asked if I felt safe, I wouldn't necessarily say yes, we have had problems before with other students acting in a poor manner.

During my years at Sequoyah, there could not be a finer high school. After i went to university, i was astounded that i already knew what the university wanted me to learn during the first year, from science, to math, to computers, to English.
