They care very little about academics and only focus on sports. Most of the teachers are coaches that dont know how to teach.

Coalgate is a very small town and is quite cozy. Coalgate High School is such a small school that you know everyone and their families. We've all grown up together and our parents grew up with some of our teachers. By going to such a small school you know you'll always have someone around that you know.

Majority of the teaching staff at CHS are of high moral and ethical standards. They hold students accountable for their own success in the classroom.
