Colby is a school that funnels kids into welding and things of the sort. While the STEM department is their strongest in my opinion it's because of the teachers themselves. There are 3 teachers who genuinely teach and you can tell are very intelligent. The rest peaked in high school and just wanted to come back. We do have a lot of AP and College courses available to students. The Start College Now program and ECCP UW programs are offered but not advertised. Even though they are extremely beneficial for students.

I have met my best friends through this school, so of course that would make my judgement biased. But, other than that the teachers are very good at what they do and how they do it. I think what I love most about our school is that we can come together as one when we need too. Also that there isn't a lot of bullying going on, in any high school you can expect some bullying but I'm proud to say that our school doesn't have a lot.
