I feel as though Ridge View High has a relative balance between both their academics and school life. Although some teachers could be better with their methods of teaching overall I think that the experience is helpful. You can also expect to be thoroughly prepared for the college experience after leaving the high school with the programs the school has to offer. So I would say Ridge View High is a pretty good school.

My school over all is a great school. My school was a steppingstone towards assisting me in independence and adulthood. I gained more autonomy and responsibility, preparing me for the challenges of the real world. I've learned important life skills such as time management, decision-making, and self-advocacy. The curriculum and coursework I obtained will definitely serve me throughout my life.

The best part of my Ridge View experience was the people I met and the extracurriculars I did. I can truly say that with those my high school experience was okay. The worst part of my experience would have to be the quality of the school. A lot of money went to a lot of things that weren't necessary. I would have rather it went to the education but it went to the sports and less important things like the carpet. Something I would like to see change would be how the money is used and how it is dispersed. I feel that with that alone a big difference can be made within the school and the kids.

I think this High School is a good H.S. My child is a 9th grader and has had some great teachers so far that has answered all my questions and respond to emails very quickly. This school has excellent programs for all students. BioHealth Magnet, Scholars Academy Magnet for Business and Law and the School of Fine Arts are just a few great things about this school.
