Columbus elementary has been recently renovated and expanded. My children attended prior to the updates, but received an excellent education from a caring and dedicated staff. The school offers an in-house charter school program with a focus on hands on learning.

Columbus Elementary is a great place for students and parents. The staff members really care about each and every child. I also like the fact that the school and grounds "speak" science. Plants, fish, a school turtle named Yurtle and several gardens on site peak the interests of young children.

A lot of schools have a tendency to look very institutional. That is definitely not the case with Columbus Elementary. It is a beautiful school that inspires students to learn.
