I am entering college and here are somethings i couldn't articulate when i was attending Nashoba for 11 years (yes, 11 very long years). a) Concord-Carlisle schools offer better academics. Now, you may say "my kid has extra needs and needs specific assistance with their learning troubles." I had special needs there, and an english teacher said I would never learn to read..... (which was not true by the way, I even won writing awards in highschool) b) I was bullied (and also not nice to the other kids either to be completely honest), and it was never handled well. c) when I was in 8th grade, they had a lady who was HIV negative to scare us into abstinence. it was like "your body is awful and you should be ashamed of it". One positive: I was completely prepared for highschool and I learnt a lot of leadership skills and time management.
