Ironton reminds me of my elementary school, a "country" school where most of the families are middle class, hard working people. Not rich, not poor, in the middle. Excellent teachers, excellent principal!! My children attended Ironton many years back and I attribute their success to the base education they received at Ironton. Those are the most important years.
