Overall, it's a very good school. They have a number of opportunities for kids to choose paths that set them up for future success in college. Plenty of AP courses. Good sports programs.

Overall, Hough High School gives students the resources an tools needed to have a succesful education. I have had some good years and some not so good years whether it be a teacher, a medical leave of absence or mental health related issues. I have had a decent amount of support from some staff however I feel as if the school is lacking on putting the students first and believeing us if something is not right. Hough is a good school and I would recommend it, every school has its flaws as does W.A. Hough High School.

Hough has been an amazing place for me to grow as a person and find the things I find the most passion in. I have connected with sports, clubs, leadership activities, and so much more. I love the inclusivity of my school and how easy it is to make connections with friends but also teachers. I wouldn't give up my highschool experience for the world and they are memories I will forever cherish.

My daughter loves this school. Very good transition from Bailey middle. Her friends are there. Her new teachers are helpful and cooperative. She is happy. I couldn’t wish for more. And the whole Cornelius community is great.
