The teacher can be 50/50, some are good and fun, others make you dread going to class. The environment is not the best, often feeling very toxic, draining, and boring. While the staff and administration can be very annoying sometimes, the students at the school are a big problem, with lots of vapes, fighting, drugs, and lack of respect for others around them.

Nottoway High School has been challenging, not rigorous wise, but simply making it through the day. The classroom environment is often out of control for all classes that aren't core and honors. On the contrary, I have had a good experience with my core teachers. Students are not being challenged to apply themselves, so what I would see changed is the elevation in course intensity.

PLS READ)THE SCHOOL IS A JOKE I'M GOING TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST THIS IS COMING FROM A STUDENT WHO GOES TO NOTTOWAY take the name serious cause it's literally NOT THE WAY first of all none of teachers ever talk good about the school and are constantly complaining and the people who run the school like the board are stuck up and literally don't care you might think I'm exaggerating but I'm not for instance the school paid students who dropped out of THEIR school cause of how bad it is, to attend the graduation ceremony so that the seats don't look empty, they also lied about attendance rates and tardies just so that it doesn't look like students don't want to come and so that they don't lose funding, I don't even know where ALL the money goes that they receive probably in their pockets cause the school is depressing literally all the classrooms have ZERO windows like a prison and the bathroom stall doors are SO SHORT that anybody walking by can see you, also THEY DO HAVE FAVORITES!

Schools are so behind the times of today’s standards. Nottoway is stuck in a vicious cycle because 90% of the staff graduated from Nottoway so they don’t know anything different which means nothing will ever change. The cirriculum is a joke and the staff like the principal plays favorites with students, the janitors don't do their job, the school rather fund a losing football team that probably won't ever win.
