The best part of my experience is the people and the teachers specifically. All of my teachers are very dedicated to making everyone's education meaningful.

I loved most of my teachers but the other students were sort of passive aggressive a lot of the time. The only thing I have to say is don't take chemistry and just be respectful of staff and you'll be fine, I flew under the radar all four years and most staff that didn't have me as a student didn't even know my name which I prefer. Vaping and fighting have been issues on campus but it's pretty easy to avoid.

Dixie County High School is a very small school in a rural community, so academic and extracurricular opportunities are limited, but the school does make the most of what it can. The teachers are friendly and caring, and the overall atmosphere is very positive.

This school has good teachers, but the rest of the staff seems unorganized. They make too many changes that mess up the atmosphere for the students and make the students hate attending school. My child has great grades and it was partially due to the schedule they had, and then, out of the blue, the...

This school, for lack of a better term, is heck. There are fights weekly, much discrimination (especially against lgbt students) and the school has bad policies. If you get beat up, even if you don't fight back, you will get punished no questions asked. The best thing I can say about this school is...

This school is horrible. Currently enrolled in 11th grade and have been here since 9th. School superintendents from the past were horrible. The teachers are alright, the staff is horrible and rude. Bullying is a major issue. Homophobia and sometimes even racism is current. School does nothing about...

Although the school has had a rocky past, it has seen amazing growth in the past 4 years alone including a new administration and new physical school. We now offer more AP courses, dual enrollment courses, extracurriculars, and other opportunities for students to explore and grow. Though focus is st...
