During my 4 years at George Washington high school, I have came over obstacles. I was a very quiet student so I didn't really speak up for myself and that made it kind of hard for me. My first two years were rough but I managed to keep good grades just by studying as much as I could. The last two years were the best, I was in a nursing program and got my Certified Nursing Assistant license; I was around people I could be myself around and managed to get honor roll or even straight A's my senior year.

The best part of my experience is the sports. Sports bring excitement. It brings everyone close together and feel like a family.

George Washington High School has its good and bad. Academically it is an okay school. The band and orchestra are really nice. The teachers are good. It is just mainly the students that ruin things.

GWHS was once a great school, unfortunately, it has really slid downhill in the last few years. Academics are not at a very high level anymore, and there is a general lack of discipline in the school. GWHS is the most horrible school in the city limits!!! The principal and staff there trys to go overboard ruling your child! Religion is not suppose to be in school, but if your not a christian they will do everything they can to get your child out the door!!! Take it from me, i've had three childre...
