I have had an overall great experience at Austin High School. Most of my family graduated from Austin and I am the last child in my family to graduate, soon in May of 2024. I have been involved in all sorts of things including softball for the last 6 years. My favorite parts are the culture and school spirit. The worst part of my experience were the amount of classes offered by dual enrollment or AP. That is a great thing for those trying to get ahead, however, I am going to a community college. However, I am still happy that I am almost 2 semesters ahead in college. I have loved my years at Austin and it is bittersweet to see them go.

The teachers take their kids and help. It's a safe school to go to and I trust the school to help the kids with everything presently and for the future.

Austin High School isn't a terrible public school, but if I had the choice I'd go somewhere else. If your life seems like it's falling apart and you need advice don't visit the counselors. I had better advice from the vice principals than them.

Austin is a wonderful school. The school system is not perfect but please tell me where one is. I have found the teachers, Principals and Administrators to be encouraging and helpful. I have two at Austin one of them is ADHD and my overall response to how they handle him is GOD Bless you. They will...
