In my experience with DeRidder High School, the teachers go out of their way to help their students, and students are often friendly to each other. Sports is a huge part of DeRidder high school, and it has a lot of the students support. DeRidder High School offers things a lot of other schools don't have, for example, robotics, drama club, and Spanish club. I'm happy to graduate DeRidder High School, but I will deeply miss it.

DeRidder High School has an extremely quick teacher turnover. This can make it hard, especially when a teacher quits in the middle of the year.

DeRidder High School hosts many great events. They definitely reward academics greatly. I would like to see some standards like being selected for officers in clubs to be based on grades and credibility rather than popularity. I love how many different clubs the school has to offer though. There definitely is a club for everyone. The school is relatively clean and safe as well.

After attending this school I was not prepared at all for college. I would not recommend anyone attending DeRidder High School. I had one teacher literally fall asleep at his desk while many others would just spend the whole day playing on the computer. If you get paid to go to work do your job. The...
