During my time at Dubois Area High School.l, I received an education that was personalized to my skills/strengths. At my previous high school, I found that the majority of my teachers' focal points in the education system were to help us pass, not learn. While at Dubois, the situation was exactly the opposite. I could truly see that my teachers cared for their students and their futures with a passion.

DuBois was a great place to learn but not a great place to make friends. I loved the school itself but the people made me feel like I didn't belong. I only got to make a few friends but the teachers were nice.

I loved that the school had a lot of extracurricular activities that I could participate in. I participated in basketball, softball, physics club, and National Honor Society. There was something for everyone. The academics and teachers were very good. I always felt safe when going to school.

Being a military family we were worried about the school district and now I am so thankful to say there was nothing to worry about! Schools are awesome here in DuBois! Oklahoma is a great elementary school for our kiddos!

I graduated from this school 10 years ago. The school did an excellent job of preparing me for college and for a future career. Our son and daughter both graduated from DAHS with high academic backgrounds in math and science. College came easy for them because of the knoweledge gained from the amazing teachers and staff at DAHS. If you are moving into the central PA area this is the school for your children.
