I started as a Freshman during Covid which was hard but I think they did the best they could for virtual learning. I'd personally like to see more focus on school athletics so we could be in better conferences and compete more as a school. I like the teachers and most of them are always willing to help when you need it.

The best part of this school is how diverse it is. However the worst part is that all the facilities are from the early 190''s, and the school in painfully small. Not small student-wise but small physically. In addition we don't have AC in many rooms. Also lots of drugs.

I've been attending Dumont High School for 4 years. Although I'm excited to graduate, DHS does provide a very positive school environment and I will be sad to leave. There's a good school community here, faculty is understanding and supportive towards students, and guidance counselors are always available to help seniors with college applications.

My child is a senior at DHS and is excited about starting college this fall yet she often tells me that she will miss her high school teachers. She admires most of her teachers and has excelled particularly in those classes. I feel that she is ready for college and DHS has a big part in this.
