My child has been at Dunbar since kindergarten and is now a 5th grader, I can't say enough great things about this school. The staff is incredible, caring and passionate about the students. It's a great small school with awesome programs like Medical Mondays, Chorus and drumming. This school practically has it's own farm with chickens, rabbits and turtles that the students help care for. You can tel that administration and teachers really take pride in what they do

I enjoyed participating at certain clubs, programs, and community service. The teachers make the experience great. This schools quota is "Where the achievement is, the expectation!" And this is very true.

Here at Dunbar we're not just a school, but we are family. It's a devoted community of teachers building life long learners and scholars for our society. Dunbar got a new principal before the 2013-14 school year and the school has improved markedly already with lots of good new teachers and a new attitude. Don't let older reviews scare you away - it's worth checking out again.
