There's opportunities to take difficult classes to prepare you for college. However when you take general classes, they're so painfully dumbed down. They accommodate to the lowest common denominator — which is pretty low. However, if you're a self-guided, driven student, you can get a lot out of your education here.

East high is a place we're they claim to be a diverse and welcoming, place but in reality, it can feel exclusive. it offense feels like your voice isn't truly heard if u don't look and act and the them. As it is my final year, I would love to see students like me feel feels heard and welcome. I feel like there is a lot that could be improved I would like to see students like me feel heard and welcome Academicly the school struggles with limited resources and staff shortages, making it difficult for teachers to help those in need

I transfered to East my junior year and I immediately felt welcomed by the staff and teachers. The sports were dedicated and hardworking with amazing coaches. The teachers focused on working with students at their level instead of trying to raise them to meet unrealistic expectations. Overall I would say I had a great time at East.

My daughter attended East High School after spending K-8 in private school. I wish I had kept her in private school. East High Administrators' focus is on athletics and perhaps drama. I used to tutor students here. Great school with great staffing and buildings. Excellent extra curricular activities as well.
