As a student in the Franklin County public school, I am aware of our status as a C school and I fully agree with the ranking. As a public school funded by the state, in a rural area, we have little allocated funding. A large amount of our classes are sourced from online, our books are out of date, and we have a small teacher staff.

I have been in this school since I was in elementary. This school has a problem with communication between administration and staff members. They also change rules and policies frequently and as the seem fit in order to suit their own needs. Many of the teachers at this school are amazing and will go out of their way to help a student. The school also offers dual enrollment at a local college which is a great opportunity.

As a parent, I have seen many changes over the years in this school. There are some really great teachers, but the staff turn over is very high. There hasn't been consistent administration for years. The school has tremendous potential and I feel the right leadership is in position now to continue to make this school great.
