I love that all of the teachers at Elk Rapids are willing to sit down and help you when you are struggling, they also care that you succeed and you do your best.

Elk Rapids High School has been my high school for the past four years, and it is an excellent school that prepares you for college, and helps you to establish meaningful relationships inside and outside of the classroom setting. Elk Rapids High School also has a variety of after school activities to be involved in, such as Robotics, Chamber Choir, and junior varsity and varsity sports.

My daughter has been bullied to the point where she refuses to go to the high school. The staff's solution is to change her schedule to make she has no classes with the bullies instead of holding them accountable for their actions. They are still going to her bully between classes and at lunch etc....

This was once a desirable school district. It has taken a slide since the previous Superintendent retired.

We moved to the area about 5 years ago from downstate. I can only tell you that I am thrilled with Elk Rapids Schools.
