My favorite thing about Escalante is that it is small and you can build a relationship with people. But it is very hard because we are so small we do very little and get little real high school experiences. We go on very few trips, learning is very very cut and dry from books, and a lot of our classes are online because of lack of teachers even before covid. The biggest problem is funding, or even using the funding in the correct way.

This school might be small but it has lots of good things about it. First overall you know everyone and get close with the whole school because there is not so much bullying and we welcome anyone that comes here. Second the education is amazing with such small classes you learn and get all the help you need to learn.

Our teachers are amazing, hardworking people. We all have a one-on-one relationship with them. But we don't have the same oppertunities as students in larger schools. For instance, we don't have a soccer team, drama class, art class, no baseball, no wrestling, no home education, not have a word working class. My school does the best in can with the little amount of money we have.
