The First Baptist Athletic Complex is almost always bustling with activity. The state-of-the-art sports facility is located on the campus of the Dallas First Baptist Academy, a private Christian school that serves students pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
It is located in the Riverway Estates/Bruton Terrace area, about nine miles east of downtown Dallas. The all-star to the First Baptist Athletic Complex is its all-grass, lighted football stadium that can fit 1,500 people. This is home to the First Baptist Saints.
The athletic complex is the frequent backdrop for the 17 varsity sports and 12 middle school sports that are offered by the Dallas First Baptist Academy. It’s also the home to frequent champions: The Saints have won 19 State Championships since 1982 and continue to produce college-bound athletes each year.
The First Baptist Athletic Complex includes lighted sports fields for baseball and soccer, a basketball court, a venue for track and field events and more. The complex has grand stands, a scoreboard, outdoor playgrounds, covered picnic areas, a concession stand, and paid parking for 250-plus or overflow parking for up to 600. The venue is frequently made available to rent out to the community and other teams, whether it’s a place for games, youth camps or to host a regional tournament.
