I used to love the school from 9th-10th grade, but then a bunch of the teachers left and bunch of things have changed and it just doesn't seem as homey as it used to. The environment just feels unhappy, and I feel like it could have been because of the building move. When I first came to the school everyone told us that we would still get the high school experience, but I haven't felt that way yet. The academics are great though and they have prepared me well for college.

I am a grade 13 Genesee Early College student and my experience over all was excellent. The teachers were always available to help when ever. I was over prepared for college classes.

I loved how the staff of Genesee Early College strive to get their students the most prepared for college . Often time colleges will say GEC students are over prepared. Not only have my school prepared me academically for college but for the real world as well . My freshman year I took a personal finance course and from that course I've been able to achieve a good credit score at such a young age. One thing I would like to see my school change is the ability to have more clubs and sports. A lot of people including myself enjoyed sports and not having that aspect apart of my school made me less likely to attend the school.

The school is honestly great. You are on a college campus even as a high schooler and you are treated like an adult. It may seem like it would be harder than normal high school but you only do two years of just normal high school classes and then you take college classes which are way easier and it...

This school is the worst I've ever experienced. They expect you to pretty much give up your life to make them happy. You never have time to sleep or eat or socialize. It's horrible! Don't waste your time.
