Floydada High School has many opportunities for students. I am currently able to take college class and get college credit at no cost. I was able to become a certified EKG Technician through this program as well. Some of the graduates are able to work at the school after they graduate within a year or two while going to school to become a teacher. With the collegiate program there is a lot more testing for the students as well as opportunities to take harder college courses than they necessarily need. There is also a pressure to graduate with an Associate's degree from the college.

As a senior at Floydada High school, this school has really got me prepared for college and anything after. Since Floydada is a collegiate high school, I have been honored to take multiple college classes for free. I am about 10 hours away from my associates and I am not even done with my first semester. Floydada's school district has provided me with countless things to do whether thats sports or academic extracurriculars.
