My experience at flushing High school and Flushing community schools in general has been quite positive. I feel quite safe and I always have a teacher to go to if I am struggling with any of my homework. There are lots of clubs that I can join, and the school overall has provided me with a well rounded education and AP opportunities.

Excellent college preparation programs are available at Flushing High School to help students successfully finish their application processes. However, there are drawbacks to how students are assigned to AP classes. Most AP students are not evaluated at the appropriate level, which combined with the teacher's relaxed attitude results in very poor AP test scores.

I would say my overall experience at Flushing High school was great. I fell supported by my teachers to do my best. In terms of school safety, I think it's ok. The security guards are really friendly. The only thing I would say that the school should improve on is school communication because it isn't really organized when it comes to having parent teacher conferences or talking about what happens in school.

No stars. Someone has to do something about this school. It is not fair that kids that actually want to do better don’t have a chance . Very disorganized, not caring , staff have no clue on what they are doing . Please , this school needs help ASAP. Where are the authorities?? No child left behind d...

I would rate this school a solid 8 only because everything that I've experienced seemed so casual to me, and I've handled it like any other student could.
