Beechwood is an excellent high school in regards to academics, athletics, and musical arts. However, there is little diversity among those who attend the school. In the future, I would wish to see more inclusion of people of all kinds.

I transferred into Beechwood as a freshman and the students and teacher made it so much easier then I thought it would be the teachers where very excepting and made me feel welcome and wanted.

Best part - I made pretty good friends while I was there, did well academically, and participated in a well trained music program. Worst part - the school payed way more attention to sports team that were average in their league than they did to the music programs that were consistently ranked distinguished in the district and even state. I would like the school to be more of academic haven than a place to show of the money some of the parents hold.
