Safe environment is primary element that sets the school apart from public institutions. Mature trees are a pretty setting. Lots of teacher turnover across campus. Lower School principal is wonderful and a highlight of campus. Middle School admin is difficult.

Oak Hall School has excellent teachers at certain grade levels and great support staff. The senior leadership however, places money at the top of their priority list and this is clear in how they make decisions and treat both students and families. If you're looking for a private school in Gainesville be cautious. Oak Hall is great for Music and Arts, athletics not so much, academics is very dependent on who is teaching.

My daughter's life is better for attending Oak Hall. She was challenged in a positive way to grow academically, personally, athletically and in many other aspects of her life. Oak Hall is a great environment for development of a child and I would recommend it to anyone.

It is a very welcoming and friendly environment for my kid who does not know English yet. The teacher and staff are so responsive and make it possible for families to get involved. So far, my kid loves it.

This school is like a family. My child went to to school from pre-k to senior at the Oak Hall H.S.My student is well rounded. Involved in Softball, Cheerleading and Theater.
