Gaithersburg highschool overall is a pretty good school. I personally enjoy going to school here a majority of the time, I love how involved teachers are with students, extracurricular activities are amazing, etc. There are some parts of the school that can be a bit iffy (safety, facilities, cleanliness, etc.) but other than that it is still good.

While the people are some the best you'll ever meet, there seemed to be a large lack of extracurricular opportunities and there wasn't very many events held to bolster student involvement on campus.

In my experience I will say it's a great school to learn and have a good time during school the teachers are very helpful and also if you work and do what you supposed to do that is studying you'll be fine to be ready to college when you graduate also the administrators will guide on what to do to go to college.

This school has the bad reputation it deserves. The students are able to flood the bathrooms all day, and there are no consequences for skipping. Your child is just a head there. If your child experiences problems, they will gladly tell you, “There’s nothing we can do.” On PSAT testing days, student...
