I love my school because I've made amazing friends and i've learned so many life lessons , but I also hate the endless homework and exams. I love the college and future readiness. The teachers are supportive, yet sometimes their expectations are very overwhelming. The fun school clubs and extracurricular activities make school enjoyable, but waking up early every single morning is draining. No matter how much I complain , I know I'll probably miss it when it's over.

My overall experience with Kipp Gaston is that it was good for some grades and it started to get worse the more that things happened due to Covid because as I started my junior year some teachers wouldn't be at school or some would quit which caused me and my pride to do elevate and as I started my senior it was a rocky started then it was got worse due to the same thing that happened my junior year.

I'm in Kipp gcp. kids are ruining the school and ithe cons are that It's so many young teachers , some young are the best teachers. The others just yell and call your parents. There is a fight EVERYDAY. Teachers take other kids side knowing there wrong. Teachers out there HANDS on you and tell lies to your parent that they didn't. I been going to kipp since kindergarten and the first 2 years in kipp was the best . the education was perfect, nice staff and everything. now in middle school it has changed. if you want to send your child to kipp think it through and safe luck to ya. It changes your child mindset. the pros are they have good after school activities , we have Africans come to the school and perform , everyone has a good time. We have pep rallies. we have different little stuff that's fun. I rate the school a 4.5/10. It's all love though.

The school has declined since opening. Political views are pushed upon children at a young age. Favorism is noticed. Inappropriate clothing is worn by staff, political social media posts continuously, and curriculum does not have a broad cultural focus. Voiced concerns are not handled in a timely ma...

We have been involved for 4 years and have noticed a big decline in leadership by the staff and their ability to retain teachers

My son attends KIPP Primary and we won't move anywhere that will take him out of his school. Not only do they focus on the typical educational subjects at KIPP, they focus on morals, integrity, kindness and compassion. Bullying is NEVER an issue at KIPP, because they treat one another as family and...

this school is nothing like it sounds to be. almost none of the teachers have any teaching experience whatsoever, there is no safety for the students in any way, shape, or form save for the cell phones of the staff, success is not an option for this school, as college acceptance is a requirement to...
