My junior year was a real struggle, largely due to my AP Chemistry class with Ms. Anita Abraham. The constant barrage of assignments, the lack of support, and the pressure to perform took a serious toll on my mental health. It was a really tough time

The student to teacher ratio is high, I would like to see that be smaller in number. I also would like to see more involvement with counselor student relationship for college readiness. I feel that the student ration is so high that it is nearly impossible for every student to get any assistance with scholarship resources. Overall my highschool experience at this school has been enjoyable putting aside safety concern.

George Washington is considered to be a horrible school by many people, however, from my own experience, I would say that it's bad if you make it bad. The teachers are all amazing and do their job really well. Its only a small number of students that ruined the school's reputation.

My son is finishing up his last year next year. I know the school has a bad rap as many Phila public High Schools. I have had no issues, the counselors and support staff have been helpful and caring.I suggest giving it a try before just going by reviews. I know many that stand behind the school.

We just moved here and the School has been great so far. My son is special ED and they have counselors right in school that help them with everything from choosing classes to transportation and they really seemed to care about him. he is transitioning better than I expected.
