I've been going to school here for the past 6 years. While covid hit when I was a 5th grader our school was very good at getting it's students back on track with most things such as english, science, and history. Though when it came to math it was a bit of a struggle though for other students that didn't miss that grade they got all the material for math. The teachers are very good with helping and being patient with students it's a good school and it has a lot of student involvement in sports.

At Georgetown High School I felt like I was greatly prepared for college. The college readiness was a priority at this school. The worst part about my experience at this school is that they had no choir-music class. I recently had switched schools and coming from a bigger school to a smaller one this was just a let down. The athletics were great on the men's side but, on the women's side of sports there was not to much support and advocating. I would like to see a change in the woman's sports.

I loved how close you were to the teachers, the small class sizes allowed for good relationships with teachers. If it were up to me, I would make sure that the marching band gets more opportunities/funding, and that the school did away with silly rules like having no dyed hair. I would also make sure that everyone gets a study hall/free period, because learning all day everyday makes it really hard to retain information.

I went here, I honestly hated it. I will admit that some teachers here were decent people and very fun to be taught by, but the staff and such were not that great. I didn't really ever enjoy my time attending this school. I wish I had been able to leave sooner.

If you enjoy small town politics and religion controlling your child’s education then Georgetown is for you. Mr. Underwood and his staff does not and will not care about your child. Bullying is brushed off for lgbt and poc students. Science classes are mixed with religious beliefs. They will not be...

For a country school the staff is extremely well educated. I personally feel that I received the best education possible during my time at GHS.
